Nice one Fran, such a good game
I really enjoyed it and it’s probably one I’ll have back at some point. The way the different branches of modes can be progressed together, not having to be done in a linear way and not blocking each other is done so incredibly well imo.

But I enjoy getting new games in to figure out and learn and so something always has to be rotated out to do that.

Out of interest Fran, how long do you typically keep a game for? I'm maxed out on capacity unless I sell a lot and while I'm really happy for now, wondering when I'll hit that point of having to start rotating too.

Don't mention Dungeons & Dragons 😉.

Each person will be different, you'll know when it's time to move a game on. You'll find yourself slowly losing interest in a Pin you own, and gaining interest in Pin you don't own.

It’s usually around 300-600 games, which takes a varying amount of time depending on if a game has complete code, how long a player it is etc. I play almost every day though so sometimes it might not seem like I keep a game a long time but I put more games on it in a few months than some people get to in a few years,

Some get a bit more than that, some less. Foo was probably the game I played the most that has left and I had that for almost 2 years. D&D has been my least favourite game I've owned so far and only lasted 3 days before I knew I didn't want it. I've also had 3 games 3 times because I've really enjoyed them, got bored or wanted something else and then over time miss them. I've never had anything rare enough to truly regret a sale or worry about not being able to get one back. JP and TMNT (thanks @Marvello ) are the only 2 that haven’t been moved on, weirdly they were my first 2 pins, had them about 4 years and over 2000 games on each.

I have a spreadsheet on what games I've had, when I bought and sold, how much for and how many games I played on them. It's not useful for anything but I just keep it for my own interest.

How are you enjoying Kong mate?

Having fun! Cool combos, punch back target is way more fun than it should be for a simple mech. Struggle a bit with the shot above the side ramp. I don't think the layout is hard but some of the modes are hard to complete, I may just need more practice though. Obviously loads more code to come but there's already much more in it than some games at this stage which is nice.

It's the first game I've avoided watching streams of or reading rules after deciding to buy so it's been interesting to explore it and figure things out for myself.

Are you enjoying it? Don't have to say if you want to keep it for your video :) Interested to hear how much harder/ dangerous you find the gong shot/ starting modes on the prem vs pro.

I hope to get a DnD next year, just trying hard not to sell my Godzilla or GnR.
So much choice now it’s hard for peasants like me!

I'm absolutely loving it actually. Should have a video done for Monday (you definitely won't learn rules from me 😂).

I think it's his best shooter since AIQ and some of the combo's are incredible.

The gong shot is a bit tricky but I find it easier than the scoop in Godzilla. I think you're probably right about the modes though because I haven't got close yet.

I love the ramp shot off the upper left flipper. . . Incredible.

When it was released I wasn't fussed at all because of the theme. Played it twice at Neil's and was impressed but now I've had a few games I'm tempted.

I do think Elwin is probably on another level now.

Basically I like it 😉
