Hi. Loving my 007 Prem but my moving jet pack has just stopped moving! I have manually moved it about an inch forward so I can still have a proper game, but can anyone suggest what I might be able to do to correct? (Or do I need an expert fix?) I have limited abilities but can do simple things ok 😬

It's most likely a switch or one of the pins in the connector block to the board

Open the coin door go to tests there probably one specific to the jet pack, if it moves in the test then it's the switch that triggers it, if it doesn't move in the test than a pin on the block that used for it replace, it's not expensive however does require a little skill.

It's unlikely but The plastic cloud it's not interfering with something?

That is not part of the original machine and is a mod

Thank you. Yes it does work in test so it sounds like it’s the switch. I’ll probably ask Matt to come and sort in due course 😃

It's then the switch that triggers it, the switch could be faulty which can also be the pin on the connector on the node board

I would start with the corresponding pin on the node board for that switch rather than the switch itself.

Also try unplugging the connector for the switch on corresponding node board and push back in

Alternatively lift the play field and push lightly on all the connector blocks on the node boards, these are the circuit boards screwed to the play filed there will be at least two sometimes three

Yes will try this first tomorrow just in case something has loosened - although it probably wouldn’t work in test? Will give this a go anyway. Thank you for your help

The jet pack would work in the test, the switch or opto sensor on the playfield that triggers the jet pack is the most likely cause this might have come loose. On spike 2 there all randomly bundled on various connector blocks.

I still think the most likely culprit is one of the pins for the opto or switch that triggers the jet pack.

Remove and re plug in the connector blocks

Which is what I'm sure you meant 😉

You only need to replace a specific pin and that requires tools and pins and tracing the culprit first after exhausting other basic things first.
