Is this the original System 11 CPU board?

Hi everyone,

I’ve got a Black Knight 2000 and noticed that the CPU board differs slightly in layout from the manual. I can’t see any batteries, and it has an digital to analogue daughter board.

Is this a modern replacement board?

That looks like a Victor (Dumbass) release of System 11, however in green. Im fact i am 99% sure it is.

Is the same as the ones i supply, however mine are red

They have had known issues sorted out and things put in place to reduce the heat as much as possible.

Hi Paul, ahh if that’s the case, then that’s a good thing that it’s a more reliable board and should last longer..! when were these boards released?

Havent a clue I'm afraid. I suspect being in the UK a private invividual has contacted him asking for the PCB only... which means that it is only as good as the soldering skills/components used.
