Hi everyone,

I’ve got a Black Knight 2000 and noticed that the CPU board differs slightly in layout from the manual. I can’t see any batteries, and it has an digital to analogue daughter board.

Is this a modern replacement board?

Cheers,
Matt

That looks like a Victor (Dumbass) release of System 11, however in green. Im fact i am 99% sure it is.

Is the same as the ones i supply, however mine are red :D

They have had known issues sorted out and things put in place to reduce the heat as much as possible.

Hi Paul, ahh if that’s the case, then that’s a good thing that it’s a more reliable board and should last longer..! 😃 when were these boards released?

Havent a clue I'm afraid. I suspect being in the UK a private invividual has contacted him asking for the PCB only... which means that it is only as good as the soldering skills/components used.
