Tragedy at IOM TT again this year.
5 racers killed on the mountain course over the last week.😞
Just terrible, RIP.
Senior Race should have been today but scheduled for tomorrow due to weather etc…

I find the IOM TT fascinating. It’s terrifying to even watch, and it seems like every year multiple racers die. I just can’t get my head around the mentality required to compete in the event.

On the one hand it seems madness so many people are 'allowed' to die, but on the other it is their choice to enter and race. I'm not sure what the answer is, it's very sad.

I guess that given the history and reputation of the event, racers know the risks when they sign up and are willing to take their chances. I will admit that I don’t have a great deal of sympathy for people who engage in such risky activity and then lose their lives - but I feel awful for their families.

So sad. RIP.
My mate is over there - Ade from the band Redline (who did the music on Full Throttle by Heighway). Same song is used alot at IOM TT on the TV.

I loved the older TT productions with that tune 👍
That song by Redline is Ace, real ‘get pumped’ vibe and matches the event perfectly.
Also, I think he sounds a bit like Bruce Dickinson.
The production this year is well, a bit dull, music woeful.
I believe Redline have done a few gigs at Villa Marina?

TT riders are awesome, really down to Earth bunch, always got time for fans.
The Mrs and I were staying in a hotel where they were all getting ****ed up.
Was chatting with the organisers that night over a few drinks and they let me lift the trophies etc.. get behind the scenes.
Seriously looking forward to the Senior TT today if weather doesn’t stop play.
I’ll call it now:
1. Hickman
2. Harrison
3. Dunlop

Had two "offers" to go Road Racing with the intention of building up to the TT.
I bought a PlayStation game to learn the circuit.
Decided to stick to Sidecarcross passengering until retirement.
Did some laps at Donnington though with Steve Webster driving.
Very enjoyable.

What a race!
Well done to Hicky, different class.
Happy for Harrison and Connor getting on podium.
Def going next year.

Correct on all fronts.
