Insuring pins with house insurance

Hi guys, just a quick question, I did a search for insuring pins but not much come up for me,

My house insurance is up for renewal and I want to add the pins as I’ve been warned they won’t be covered unless individually stated on policy,

I change pins quite often and some are loaned to me and they will change at times, it seems my insurer wants know by name etc what I have, I don’t want to have to speak to them each time I change,

How do you guys do it,
