So i got a Stern Insider Connected Kit for y Stranger Things Pro recently. I wanted to keep the uv kit pro apron and all the cool graphics on it. I didn't want to loose any of it and so decided the best place to install it was in the pretty much redundant right apron card. I cannot fathom why stern did not make aprons with the slot cut out here in the first place, seems like a no brainer, but anyway. here is how and what i did!
I made a new apron card with the slot cut out and i will be getting wither a decal made from this design or a thin screen plastic to fit on top of the mounting using the camera screws etc.
Removed apron and marked holes for edges and mounting
Cutout slot
Mounted Camera Node unit
Reinstall apron and Monuted new apron card design into apron (just a proto one on thin card)
Job done
And how stern should have done it all along
