Indirect Sunlight?

Hi all,
I’ve blocked all direct sunlight from hitting any of my pins at home but what about indirect sunlight?
Is the UV strong enough when reflecting and catching the side of a pin to cause fading over time?
Thoughts appreciated

UV can bounce off surfaces but it is very diluted
Remember light travels in straight lines, and it would have to be one hell of a high dose of reflected/refracted light to fade a pin cab

i have had a bsd in my office for 16 years with no direct sunshine touching it but over that time the red has faded slightly
