Incorrect Scared Stiff Insert Decal "Terrifying!"

Anyone ever replaced the "Terrifying" insert decal on a Scared Stiff?

The replacement I bought seems to be the wrong shape.

The old decal was an oblong that was half worn away so I removed the final few bits but when I come to put the new decal on it's just the word "Terrifying!" with a big block of red to the left. See photos.

Is there another decal out there that I can't find (believe me I've tried) or do I have to paint over the insert (which has the trunk sensor PCB underneath) in red acrylic paint and then apply the decal to that?

Cheers

Andy

That's cràp init. Is it a decal or an overlay? Bit of both!

Will be watching this. GL!

All the decal sets seemingly come witht he terrifying like that... odd

Yep. Is really weird. There is another version out there but even that’s not an oblong - it just has a red background around the text.

Surely it’s an overlay as a decal would only cover the Eddy Sensor but the playfield gets scuffed just to the left off that from the kick out. This way an overlay protects a larger area.

Came on a sheet of decals, sold as decals, whatever it is I can’t find an overlay/decal to cover the oblong that covers the trunk sensor PCB.

Having said that if I could get a red oblong decal I guess I could apply this over the top.

Matching the red is gonna be tough though. The red on the overlay/decal I have is nowhere near the same colour as the play field.
