#2 AUTO LAUNCH
COIL MALFUNCTION

Will that do it? from the image it looks like both wires are still connected to the solenoid coil wires, its just the diode thats come adrift? isn't the diode just there for voltage surge protection? please correct me if I've got that wrong ( highly likely )

Bad news. Kevlar is right. The diode protects the driving transistor. The fact that it's come adrift, probably means that the driving transistor has now gone short circuit, and blown the protecting fuse in the backbox. Ultimately you'll probably have to replace the transistor too. As a work around if you cannot get it fixed, I would disconnect the coil, find and replace the blown fuse, and play with the glass off, launching the balls into play by hand.

soldered it and still the same :( cant see any blown fuses? man xmas ruined already any ideas guys?

Check lower left circuit board fuse f5. If blown you can borrow one of f1-f4 as these are general lighting. But unless you disconnect the launcher, expect the launcher to lock on, and the fuse to blow again

hi Andy thanks for this had a look and there's no fuse 5 on there but did check the one designated to the coils and it seems fine :( i now need to go out last minute shopping ill be back on it in a few hours i do appreciate the help thank you

Are you looking in the backbox, not the cabinet.
Backbox, bottom left circuit board, top middle fuse F5

hello again ive taken pic of the backbox and of the lowest set of fuses and of the chart inside the back box, when i got in i resoldered everything at the coil its still doing the same
ill just need to explain to my wee biy daddys new at this haha

My mistake. Thought it was original Jurassic park. As rude says , prob f6. Use a multimeter to test them out of circuit.
