Hello from Bury St Edmunds

Hello,

New to the forum, but a long time pinball player. Had Twilight zone for a while (about 6 years) and then swapped it for a Stern Spiderman (HUO) which I have now had for about 16 years. Unfortunately starting to suffer from tinnitus which the noise from playing aggravates, so looking to sell (will be cleaning and taking photos soon) and looking at the virtual options so I can continue playing without the noise effecting my hearing.

Welcome to the forum! How did you discover the forum?

There's a thriving scene in East Anglia - @David_Vi and I are just up the road in Sudbury and run lots of meets and social events. You're always welcome to join us.

I also started the East Anglia league this year which is really friendly and rapidly growing. Maybe with some ear plugs you might still be able to attend a couple of local meet ups?

Welcome to the forum.
I'm not far away in Barnham near Thetford, small collection of pins but now having the caught the little understood condition of 'Pinballitus', it'll only get bigger !

We do now have a thriving scene in East Anglia, which I have to say, is all down to the sheer enthusiasm of all things pinball related, of @Lecari and @David_Vi, without them, it wouldn't be the case, Legends!
They hold fairly regular meets/comps at their place which are always excellent. Well worth attending but be warned, if you don't register within the first minute of registration going live you'll miss out!! Places go like SoffAS!

There was a guy at Pinfest last weekend who had a full size VP which looked pretty good even though I didn't try it out. I can't recall his name or if he builds them to order, someone on the forum will know, just ask.
@Doggard dogg (Steve) who lives in Dereham has a VP and strangely enough a Spiderman as well.

Be good to catch up at some point.
