I've had this for around 5 years and its time for someone else to enjoy. Its a rare part of history as Heighway closed and the estimated production number of this game is only around 150. This game is bullet proof and also the original seller had collected enough spares to fill a warehouse, but if thats not enough reassurance the game is so popular in the States that one chap, Averell, on Pinside has replicated all the boards, created a 300 page user guide and manual and even taken the code and added Ripley into it like the Pinball Brothers version, which I have updated onto the game.

The game came to me from Tyke who has added an alien tracker above the shooter lane and custom apron from the states with acid burn and lighting effects including strobe tied into the game, pics to follow but original apron also included.
Here's his post on here when he fitted it. https://www.pinballinfo.com/community/threads/today-i-worked-on.39368/page-33#post-392059
Here's the original for sale thread which alongside many pictures eloquently details out all the bullet proofing and spares far better than I can. There will be a few less RGB leds than listed here as I swapped out a few when the game came to me, I'll do a count shortly, but again, these are available via pinside.

The game has been issue free and a real show piece in my collection. Cosmetically identical to the original thread bar the apron, but I'll update with newer pics later today. The only tiny imperfection to note is the facehugger on the left sling is missing one leg as seen in the original for sale thread. The tails of the facehuggers take a battering and have come off and been repaired with a wire insert for support and glued back in place, barely noticable but not an issue as there are nos spares included should you want to have it 10000% perfect.
You can argue the PB later release of this game has an additional magnet that stops the ball and drops it easier onto the top right flipper, but for me its a top flipper shot that like any other game, once you've dialled it in isn't an issue. Also the much larger lcd screen in the backbox and playfield lcd screen make this version far superior and immersive in my opinion.
Talking of immersion, the only add-on I've done is to wire a sub off the cabinet bass speaker, I'll include this in the sale, it powers on/off when the game turns on/off and wow, the sound and effects done by the legend that is David Thiel on this game are mind blowing! With the beacons spinning during certain modes and the music and callout you really are battling the Alien/aliens under the glass.
Also worth noting the innovative Heighway playfield glass removal system where the glass in set into a frame which once unlatched can lift straight off the game without needed to be slid out the front make this easier to remove in a tight space.
I'm asking £9750 or near offer. Might entertain a px with cash for dmd era game, try me!
Game Over Man! Game Over!!
Cheers,
Jon
