Has anyone made their own wax for the playfield using carnauba?

Hi Folks
I am in the process of sorting out my 1974 segasa Triple action machine and have heard that people like to use pure carnauba wax polish to polish the playfield.
I have some novus cleaner and intend to use that to clean it first.
I do not have any ready made carnauba polish but what I do have is a bag of pure carnauba wax flakes and some turpentine.
I am a furniture maker and have made my own furniture wax using turps beeswax and a small amount of carnauba to increase it's hardness.
What I would like to know is can I make a suitable wax for the playfield from carnauba and turps alone?
My thinking on this is that it will be much too hard to use so will need something else added.
Some furniture polishes also have oils in to achieve this but what about playfield waxes?
Does anyone have any experience of making their own?
Many Thanks
Alick
