Selling on behalf of a friend, who has been storing it at my place for the last 2 years.

My EM knowledge is non existant, but I'll do my best.

Machine is in a playable, working condition, but should be considered a project, just in terms of the work that needs to be done.

Good stuff
* Lots of stuff is working
* Backglass is nice
* The theme is great (an american idea of the UK in the 50s!)

Not so good stuff
* The ball counter doesn't seem to be working, with games going on indefinitely.
* The flippers need a rebuild (well, everything does to be fair, but the flippers especially)
* Rubbers all likely gone
* Some genius decided to paint the cab a lovely sky blue. The owners wife started to remove this by hand, and you can see that it's possible to do so.
* The playfield art is well worn, in many places, but could certainly be touched up by someone with the skills and the time
* One of the relays sometimes hangs, and need to be reset by hand. I don't know which, I usually just pushed stuff until it worked again.
* One of the center targets is broken

Game looks to be very floaty in the video - It's not on legs atm so isn't at the right angle. In does play faster - but not significantly so. I means, it's an EM. Thats what they do.

Cheap as chips. Martin here Wednesday.

Some acrylic paint, new rubbers and a bit of time, could be having a lot of fun for not much coin!

It sounds like there are comparatively few EM owners on here, and that number probably further diminishes when it comes to users interested in EMs that need work beyond new rubbers.

Not everyone’s into the royals, which further brings down the pool of interested parties …

Good luck with the sale to the seller and best of British with the project to the buyer! Great to see a pin that powers up and plays at a price like this.

Everyone should try fixing up an EM at least once. It's great fun :)
