I managed to find the above in not bad condition, playfield has a spot of wear and minimal insert wear down the middle, cabinet is very good, backglass has some crazing but seen much worse! Also came with manual, the chap has owned it since 1986! also came with a full set of spare displays and some coils. The boards need some work as it currently does not boot so that should be fun! Would like to get the boards working if at all possible rather than an aftermarked board.

I will post some proper pics once I get it out the car

Buck Roger’s … 🤩
This is the first pinball I can remember playing… Thompson’s Arcade Bridlington… many happy hours spent on this machine 👍

nice, good job the game was never designed with speech though,Twiki saying "biddie, biddie, biddie",over and over again would drive you mad

Not much to report! Have had the game running, main issue was poor connectors to the psu, have since re capped the psu and managed to blow a regulator ! That has now been repaired and waiting to sort out all the molex pins on the boards.

Also removed the back glass and sealed it with clear coat ready to be touched up where needed.

Backglass touched in and fitted back, mpu connectors sorted out, game is fully working now, will add pictures later.

Just been looking at the playfield and it seems it has be brush coated with varnish of some kind! This may have saved wear but don't look great! Not sure where to go with it, migh try wet/dry sanding it smooth gently!

Cheers Ronnie

Spent a fair few hours on the playfield , ended up using 320 grit dry sand so I could see the varnish come off, not possible wet sanding! It’s nice and shiny now and I have gone as far as I want to go with it, it was not bad wear wise but some bits needed touched up, looks like some damage not down to wear more like something dropped on the playfield
