So there was I rebuilding a relay bank on a Gottlieb this week I carefully dismantled everything as the customer wated everything Chromed. Happily I rebuilt the the unit turned it on and ZAP! Got a mains belt and it fkin hurt!
Stupidly I forgot that the relay plates for the Armature switch have a rubber grommet/ insulator so it does not connect to the Armature as it has mains voltage on! DOH!! I appreciate I may be telling "granny to suck eggs" but please be careful with the Armature circuits THEY BITE!!
