Just got a STTNG and loving it, but have a column of lamps out, seller said it was working before, so hoping something has come loose in transport... little unsure the best way though to work through the problem...
So the manual has a lamp matrix and all the lamps in Yellow-Violet (J137-7 Q92) are out (this is the top banks, worm hole etc)...
So with all being out I have tried (happens to be the hardest place to get to) to follow the "Yellow-Violet" to a connector... this is a big old connector though and seems to be connected, I disconnected/reconnected etc all without luck...
Unsure how to check what fuse it is, so check as many as I could find and they all seem good.
So, what "process" should I follow? is there a way of finding the correct fuse? is there a place I should be checking voltage to make sure its getting to a point??
All silly questions I am afraid? Just dont want to jump in without some more experienced guidance...
Also I see all these diodes connected to each bulb, whats the correct process of checking those are good? just a continuity test??
