Do we have anything available in the UK that does the same job? I've removed some mylar and need to get rid of the residue.

Cheers.

I saw that but I am far too impatient to wait for stuff to be delivered!

Just found this in a local shop. It may well do the trick.

I'll report back.

I used that Sticky Stuff remover just last week. £3 from b&q and worked a treat. Leave it to soak in for five mins, then scrape up as much goo as possible using an old credit card or similar

After that, sprinkle some flour over the area, and rub it around with your finger. Flour gathers up all the remaining goop. Simples!

Nice one. Just used it myself and it worked a treat.

I have my MM stripped for a clean and polish - Having polished the Mylar has come up with a nice shine, however is irritatingly still visible. In two minds whether to strip the lot off whilst i have it all apart!

Have you treasure coved the Mylar Paul? According to the DVD you get with it, it's good on Mylar too. I've only ever used it on the tiny bits between the pop bumpers so can't really judge it on that. I've got a fully mylared bighurt to polish next so interested to know if it comes up nice.

Yup - that's exactly what I've done. It does a great job getting rid of ball marks on the mylar (worked wonders on the mylar between the pops!), however if it's yellowed slightly then there's not much that can be done about it. Whilst Diamond plated (or whatever was done when MM was produced), it still worries me removing the mylar...
