This is not my machine. If you're interested I'll give you the guys details. Machine is 6 mile outside Leicester.
I've not seen the machine, just helped him over the phone and he's dropped a board off for repair.
All lamps are new installed by the guy
New set of rubbers. Playfield is in good condition (1 broken plastic) manual included. Cab /,b-box has odd mark but overall good. Plays fine with no issues.
He's looking for £1500.
Anymore info you'll contact him for pics etc.

I don’t think you can sell on someone’s behalf here mate, I am pretty sure the rules are that it has to be your machine.

If I'm posting it and your dealing directly with the owner I've never had a problem. 2 month ago I did the same thing and it sold on here

New rules were brought it after another forum member put machines up for sale on behalf of another person and it turned out that person didnt own those machines and had been lent to them, it was a whole palaver.

So now you only supposed to list machines for sale that belong to yourself.

Well 2 month ago I posted I'd been offered a machine I didn't want.
I put it on here with no issues and it sold
So I can't see any difference

The seller could but as he inherited it and has no interest in pinballs whatsoever, it would be a waste of time. I'm well aware of the rule and who caused it to be introduced. I thought it would help someone on here and save it going to ebay. In future anything I have to sell will be sold elsewhere.

No good deed goes unpunished.

I like the game too. Theme is a bit meh for non american or under 70 years old. And the 50m shot is disproportionate but that's what it is all about.

The island is a cool feature and has just been copied in Winchester.

As Russ says can't go wrong at the price.

All it takes is a quick PM (under normal circumstances - I'm currently on hols!) prior to posting.
Personally i dont have an issue with putting people in touch with others offering a machine that they are looking for.

Most of us know the historical reasons why this is in place.
Also - This place survives on donations to keep the site running. I havent said this yet on here, however I have had notification that our next annual hosting renewal will increase by 30% (to be fair, it hasnt changed in the last 4+ years).

The only "official" way to support is to donate, and this is primarilly via subscriptions.
And times are tight with everyone currently - subscriptions are down.
Hence why it is encouraged for those people to join, donate the once and advertise.
It is ALWAYS advised that a potential buyer should go and view the machine prior to purchase, although whilst i understand the difficulties around this, Caveat Emptor.

I am not AT ALL questioning the comments in the thread - everyone has their own views, their own opinions.

Thank you to everyone for supporting us. This forum is supported by EVERYONE that posts, visits and reads its discussions, along with subscriptions to support the upkeep!
