I have been looking for a Pro or Premium for a long time now and across a couple of Pros over the past few weeks which didn’t have the slimmer mech fix but prices fairly high in my opinion. They have since sold too!

If I were to buy a machine without that fix how difficult would it be to source the part needed?

I have googled about but found nothing that really helps me lol.

Any opinions on this? My head tells me to wait for a machine that is a good price and has the fix but if I can source the part needed then I’d happily go for it.

What's the slimer mech fix btw? My slimer needs to be smashed by the ball to register a hit!

it was only the first about 6-9 months that had the older slimer sensor wire and then production ones after that had the first as standard. After the first 6 months they lifted the outlane rails and also lifted the flippers a little

Yep the fix is meant to essentially cure that problem from what I understand. I don't actually know the ins and outs of the fix, other than there was a replacement part available for it.

The ones I came across were £6500. One of the sellers said he was happy to take £6k but no idea what it sold for in the end.

Like every ghostbusters, it was listed for literally a few hours before it sold lol.

The original slimer mech had the wire above him hidden under a plate and was curved and then stopped slimer from pivoting around. Stern change was the connecting wire at the top is now a plug in 90 degree connection above the plate .

Wire was a bit thicker and stiffer too. Mine was much better after fitting the new parts. Slimer hits were pretty flakey initially.
