Over the last few weeks I've been playing CSI and wondering who thought it was a good theme to licence. Maggots in flesh multiball anyone?

This got me thinking about other strange licence choices. Who the hell ever though Ted Nugent would be a good theme. Out of all the 70s rockers what did he do to deserve a game?

Now I've never played it and it looks totally **** but part of me kind of wants it just for that "WTF did I buy that for" feeling

Behold it in all it's beeping glory.

Anyone else admitting to wanting to buy a game that you know will be ****? Any secret monopoly fans out there?

Ted probably threatened to shoot Sam and Gary. He likes to shoot anything else. There was a Paul Bunyan on ebay recently. Not quite a stormer of a theme. Shadow and JM are best examples of duff theme great game.

Hehe I enjoy CSI, Monopoly and Rollercoaster Tycoon! I'd own a Rollercoaster Tycoon even though it looks like crap, very fun game. I'm a Pat Lawlor fan though.
I don't really care too much about the theme as long as the game is fun.

I'd quite like any and all Star Wars titles, just because of the theme really. Heh, if anyone has them for sale, PM me :p

i can admit to wanting a ted nugent at some point,i knew it was crap..i suppose he was massive in the states and not many were produced either, just had a rock theme going on ,,,,,,,,,,,,i did get the back glass on ebay for £10 which looks good on the wall...

I kinda like playing Wheel of Fortune whenever I find it at a show. Couldn't explain why but I do enjoy it.

I seem to like loads of **** 'labelled' games. Even more so if the translight is crap or cheesy as hell.. :)

As time goes on, getting more drawn to older/simplistic machines too which some may find crap.

Probably enough to use up a tidy chunk of the left-over program ROM's from Mike Kubin's previous design, 'Lectronamo'. Mike K later produced Seawitch, though, which also has his characteristic display layout (the player displays stacked down the left side of the glass).

There are on the flip side lots of games I have been told are great but the theme to me is pants so I wouldnt want, tron, fun house and avatar as examples

Avatar is one of my favourites!

A machine that falls into the considered crap category that I would at least like to play ( haven't come across one yet ) is High Roller Casino.
