Friend's Funhouse has started blowing the 2.5A left flipper fuse. Thought it was anomalous at first so just replaced the fuse, tested the flippers briefly, and assumed it was fixed.
He let me know earlier that it did it again when he played it, on the first game from what I gather.
Haven't yet looked at the machine but is there a guide anywhere of what to check for? I'm aware the EOS switches are the sort that are normally closed, so will check them to see if they are opening properly, but beyond that I don't really know what to look for.
Is this fuse puller any good?
... I've seen it said on Pinside that it doesn't last very long before bending.
Also, I can't find 2.5A slow blow fuses in stock at RS Components but 3A is available. My TAF and TZ both use 3A on the flippers but Funhouse uses 2.5A. Would it be unsafe to use that instead?
Cheers in advance.
