It's really hit and miss with drill bits nowadays.
A lot of cheap Chinese crap coated to look good.
Ok for drilling plastic but not much else.

I tend to go for cobolt HSS drills for drilling steel etc.

Jeez. Just use an engineering supplier. Cromwell toos. Msc industrial etc. 30 quid!
