Hey folks
I need to sell a pin, so it's one of these two
Not looking to sell both, so when one goes, the other won't be up for sale. Widely regarded as the greatest two pinballs of all time (Internal survey, 1 respondent).
Hobbit (almost a Black Arrow edition
) - £6.2k
This is a standard Hobbit, but upgraded with shaker, invisiglass glass, slingshot axes, bumper figures. As fas as I can tell, the only remaining difference between this and the Black Arrow version is the black side rails, this has standard steel, and I think an extra bit of video in attract mode. On top of that it's got the Bag End mod, the Ereborn throne mod and decals to the metalwork.
It's HUO, so the condition is lovely. Very clean, was re rubbered about three months ago, and everything works as it should. It says it has 6 lifetimes games, but obv thats not right, so I'm guessing it got reset in one of the recent updates. But judging by the lack of wear in the shooter lane and holes, it's not had a hard life. If I was being critical, I'd say it loses a couple of points for a) a small knick on the right hand back box decal (in the photos) b) it was obvious reseted on it bum at some point, so scuff to the back, and c) some wear at the rear of the top pop up flaps. You really can't see it, but I've tried to photograph it. I've covered them with JJPs specific mylar.
Loved having Hobbit, and if I have time for a long game, it's my go to. Caveat - I suck a pinball.
Dialed In - £6.1k
Pretty much immaculate, HUO, no noticeable marks or scuffs, 158 lifetime plays. Very clean back end
It's got a couple of Mezel mods - the tower at the back, Bobs signs, stickers on the station. Also has Cliffy's on the holes and I changed the back box fan for something a little quieter. Loses a point as the middle drone doesn't spin (LEDS work) but its a common issue, so much that JJP changed the code so they hardly get used anyway. Apart from that, everything works perfectly. It's a slightly odd theme I think, but it's such a good game with so much going on that it transcends the theme. It's a really loaded game.
I'm near Ringwood, Dorset, Martin etc etc. Might be able to deliver depending on where you are.
Happy to take offers, if it gets me to the machine I want to buy, I'm good.
Shout if you have any questions / want more pics.
