Hi
My Data East Star Wars pin was moved around recently, and since then the flippers and plunger no longer work. The start button works and all the lighting etc. Any ideas on where to start looking?
Cheers

Yeah those Data East fuse holders disintegrate if you look at them funny. Make sure they’re ok and reseat everything while
You’re at it. Maybe something worked loose

Hi guys you were spot on many thanks! The holders had basically broken off or were not connecting to the fuses, and the last one fell off when I looked at it funny LOL.

Now to get some suitable holders quite quickly - do you know where is best to get them from, are they generic holders or specific to pinball?
Cheers!

Just for reference it was the four fuses on this small board towards the bottom left of the pinball under the playfield.

Pinball mania or pinball heaven mate. Get a slack handful while you’re at it so you’ve got them in stock for next time

Hi guys
Recently got round to installing new fuse holders on that board as advised, but no joy. Something to add is that now when I switch it on, the playfield lights up but the dmd and start lamps take around a minute to start up. When I then press start I get the message on the DMD stating "0 balls missing" and then when I press start no balls get released.

Is there anything else to check?

Cheers
Dan
