Too many projects! Have never powered it up, not for the faint hearted!! Included is a Shay back glass £300, full set of plastics £94, Apron decal £25, Roto Target decal set £20, Cannot remember what the machine cost me but just looking to break even. £750

sorry no, i want to do them both "at some point", a Gottlieb Diamond Jack with a NOS playfield and a home use only (but you wouldn't think so) Gottlieb Universe, nothing else right now.
 
Hi David, you say too many projects - I am a noob, looking to potentially take on a more modern project (if I don't buy something fully working first) - anything that might be realistic? Based in Norwich too :)

Hello, I have sold off most of my surplus machines (tombstones) and kept the ones I am interested in, no point spending a lot of time on something that does not hold your interest.
I think most of the experienced members here could write a book on buying advice. Best to find a machine that is working, beware of ebay don't believe the descriptions many are bodged up to get them working (seller refurbished) unless they are done by known enthusiasts. Look before you leap.
All this is obvious advice but it is easy to get carried away. If you see something run it past the guys on this forum they are good at finding fault;) and always take the advice from a group of comments. Good luck. David.
