Honestly, if you check and double-check the position of the decal, get it dead right, put a weight on it so it can't move, use a couple of clamps to make sure, when you are 100% happy with the position, fold it back and remove a 4" strip of the backing paper, use one of these to smooth it down:

I was Sooooo close to screwing up the backbox decals, and despite the fact i'm quite handy, i panic too much

The best prep I find is ringing Matt Adams and saying "Hi Matt can you redecal my cab. Ok thanks Bye"
Cant afford it, else i would be on the phone to Daz in an instant!!!
