Fish Tales - Weak Coils

Hey gang

Having a bit of trouble with some of the coils on my Fish Tales being weak. It's the slings, catapult, ball launch and VUK. Basically everything that's on the high powered circuit. (Everything that goes to J130)

Does anyone have any ideas on a possible cause. Or where I should start looking?

What voltage you got at the coils?

Between 71 and 72 at every coil. (That is assuming I am not doing something stupid of course.)

Not even remotely close!

Could be a cold joint on J130 or dirty pins causing high resistance. Voltages would look right at the coils with no load but lower current enough to make them weak when they fire. Might be worth looking at the volt drop at the coils when they fire and compare it to good ones.

Check transformer plug contacts in cab

Power Driver board :-

Check J102 contacts and header and J107
Check resistance and contact quality accross F112 and F105

If all else is good, BR3 could be weak
