The entire playfield lift mechanism for our Fish Tales is unsafe/broken. I’ve checked the manual and it doesn’t seem to be listed under cabinet parts. Can someone advise? This part looks like it‘s for the WPC95?

I ideally need the entire mechanism - both the right and left-side sliders and the notched parts that fit onto the cab to stabilise the playfield.

Vee,

That is the correct assembly. There is a parts list downloadable at IPDB and below is a cut from it showing the slide mechanisms are A-16637-1 and A16637-2 and Marcos shows these has been replaced by A-16637.

I'm surprised that your assemblies are completely broken. Unless it has been forced at some point in time. Sometimes its just the spring that is a problem - if stretched broken or missing then the mechanism will not work. The spring is part number 10-439 and readily available on its own for a couple of £.

On the cabinet, on each side, there is:
1. a couple of "pivot nuts 7/8" (02-4329-1) https://www.pinballlife.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=02-4329-1
2. Two carriage bolts: https://www.pinballlife.com/38-16-x-1-14-ribbed-neck-playfield-support-carriage-bolt.html
3. A metal plate: https://www.pinballlife.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=01-11408

If you cant get these from UK, then Mel @PeterFenton at One Stop can get them for you in time for pick up at Pinfest but you will need to be quick to order.

It's a pivot nut that's gone, but the whole mechanism is dodgy - and has been since we got the pin. The mechanism going up and down has even scraped off all the paint inside the cab. Since the dubious lift mechanism has caused one serious injury already (husband didn't know how a playfield was supposed to raise, and so he dropped AFM on his head) I was going to replace the whole thing.

If the pivot nut is completely missing you will likely need a new support bolt as the threads on the support bolt may well be damaged by the playfield resting on it.
