I've been meaning to start a for sale thread for my Family Guy for a while now but never seemed to get round to it. @leedon1973's wanted thread earlier has given me the kick up the backside to get it listed!

I purchased the machine about a year ago from another forum member and it hasn't developed any faults during my ownership. It was at the NLP in October last year and worked flawlessly all weekend. I gave the machine a quick service before the show which included a reasonably thorough clean of the playfield, removing the ramp and upper playfield. A new set of balls, premium white rubbers and Comet LEDs for the GI and spots were fitted at this time too. The majority of the inserts had already been changed to LED prior to my ownership. The legs, side rails and lockdown bar have been powder coated orange by a previous owner and suit the rest of the machine well.

Overall I'd say the machine is in pretty good condition although not perfect. The playfield is in excellent condition with no major wear. It has minor ball swirls around the left slingshot but is otherwise perfect. There is also one broken plastic that covers the newton ball area. Both of these problems seem to be very common with FG's, affecting most if not all of the machines I have seen.

The cabinet artwork is still nice and bright and looks good overall. It does have a few dings and scratches but nothing too serious. I also have a new decal for the beer can which was passed on to me by a previous owner of the game. He never ended up fitting it and neither have I. I'm happy to do this for the new owner if they like or can just leave it for them to keep/fit themselves.

I'm looking for £3000, which is what I paid for it last year. This doesn't include the ColorDMD that you can see it fitted with in the photos. I'm happy to include it for the buyer if they would like but would want the full price of a replacement as I'd like it for one of my other games. This is one of the newer Chroma units and was purchased on 20th Nov last year in line with the FG ColorDMD release. These are currently out of stock at Pinball Palace however would be £380 shipped. The original DMD has the odd dot out but it doesn't notice very much in play. This would be included in the sale too if the buyer chooses to keep the ColorDMD.

Orange powder coating! I was thinking about getting mine done for my FG.

If you want to swap hardware (or the buyer does not want orange) - I would be happy to swap for a few £.

Just put a coloured DMD in mine (Pin2DMD) absolutely wonderful. Mine sadly has a bit of wear on the 'PINBALL' inserts. It's a great game, brilliant humour.

So if anyone wants your game with black hardware let me know - im sure we can sort something out.....

That was my old Family Guy, an easy way to recognise old.pins with the powder coating! Certainly done the rounds as I know of 3 owners since me and maybe more! Still good it gets enjoyed by lots.
