F111 CFTBL

So... the secondary flasher fuse on CFTBL blows on start up.

This controls all flashers Creature mirror motor.
I have looked and can’t see any crossed wires or anyghing like that..

Any ideas?
If a flasher bulb goes, does it cause the fuse to blow!?

Could it be a driver transistor shorted? Can you put a breaker in F111 and see if any bulbs stay on

If that fuse blows its most likely the bridge rectifier is short. Disconnect the power outputs along the top of the board and if the fuse still blows then the fault is on the Board (bridge ). If it only blows when you’ve got power connected on the outputs then another problem.

Unplugged J106, J107, J104 along the top and the fuse still blew.

I would also change BR 2 and the corresponding capacitor at the same time just for maintenance.

Board went off to Andy N- changed BR4 and it’s now up and running!
