Hey all,

Got a quick one, currently my games are folded up so I thought this would be a good time to do a few little jobs I have been putting off, one of these is to replace my F-14 beacon belts. I got some brand new ones off Andy Netherwood a while back but never got around to putting them in my game, until now.

The old belts, being quite worn, were stretched quite a lot and happily got pulled around by the motor fine. When I tried the new ones, being all nice and new are quite a bit tighter than the old ones, which is where my problem is, they are too tight. The motor doesn't have enough power to smoothly pull them around and they just constantly stick, I'm also worried this is damaging the motor.

Does anyone have any tips on how I could stretch them effectively? Currently I have them stretched around the knobs on two drawers which seems to be doing a bit of a job, but its very slow and in 3 days or so hasn't really stretched them that much!

Appreciate any advice you can throw my way!

You don't need those special belts.
Just use a rubber belt (Like slingshot rubber).
It will do the trick....and much easier to stretch
