My Gulfstream has a problem advancing the lit circle on the middle playfield as seen in the pic.

The lit circle changes when the pinball goes over a rollover button, or should!
With mine it works if i manually hold the button down but not if a pinball runs over it. Seems it is not working with a fast switch press but needs longer. Any ideas where to start with fixing this? Presume something needs a clean but can't find what.

Lift up the playfield and look under the button switch location you have the problem with.

If there is a contact switch of some sort, its probably due to the contact points being too far apart. Just move them closer together and test till the required sensitivity is reached.

Sadly, i don't have any knowledge of the inner workings of that machine, but that's my best guess.

Good idea, i did replace one of the switches to check that but i think i can get the contacts closer. Will try!

Clean the switch contacts by putting a piece of white card between them, hold the switch closed (gently) and then drag out the card...do this a few times until you don't see black lines on the card. Could be just bad contact due to dirt buildup :)
