In Progress Earth Wind and Fire Pinball - Not the POP Group silly

Good man @Mozcom stick with it you will get there in the end and save another machine that was destined for the skip!

Cheers Kev

Well the cab's at the carpenters with ball park figure to save as much of the artwork as possible. Contact made with others for repairing and testing the boards.

Was hoping that I'd get my tumbler for my BD as I normally don't ask for anything, alas not, but it'll be on order soon.
After working 20 days without a day off, now watching the rugby with a large glass of wine [emoji39]

I thought it best to label up before I did anything.
As this my first and don't have a great idea what I'm doing as there's no HAYNES manual for this

Tumbler purchased Saturday after BD, so should be with me tomorrow[emoji3] so I can get on with this lot and not loose myself in putting the thing back together, bit by bit.

I know I might be flogging a dead horse but we all end up in different sized boxes any way in the end. At least I've tried to give this another life?

Looks like you may not need them but I have a full playfield with all upper parts, plastics set plus under playfield plungers, coils etc. Give us a shout if missing anything.
Think I might need a lhs slingshot arm for starters John if possible?

I did forget to get the walnut media though. Doh. Any recommendations as to where from and what grade?

Anyway, thought I'd set it off with what came with it and some autosol and see what happens[emoji4]

Sorry everything has been stripped from the playfield but I'll look through the boxes to see if there's one in there. Be patient with me.... not sorted any boxes yet following the house move.

I use wallnut grit until the rust and major scratches are gone, can take a few hours, the only way to check is to visually inspect the condition every hour or 2 really.

Next corncob goes in (add a couple of squirts of novus 2) and then leave everything in until it is polished shiney. It can take a few hours to a couple of days depending on how nice you want it to look.

You can of course re-use the grit and corncob a few times so you'll probably want to store them in a container inbetween changes.

Do you have a backglass for this ? There is one currently on eBay.

I have thanks. Mine is not that bad and I'm concentrating on getting what I can do with my ability/disability (lol) first as it's a non worker at the mo, but I'm sure it will be a good looking non worker when done. [emoji19]

Supposed when it's finished, I could always stick it on the Bay as only needing "A fuse".[emoji20]

I don't believe it. I love my tumbler!
Can't find enough to throw in it.

Thought I'd stick the lamps in for a laugh.
With these results and I haven't even polished them with the corncob yet

Well I'm certainly not as quick as others but quite happy with my first biggest test.
First strip clean and build of the drop target. Glad I took so many photos. Thought I might have a few screws left but no, it all went back together again.

Before pics...
