Looking to move my Dr Who to a new home. This was one of the machines at the final Northern League meet this year.

This had a complete overhaul last year – including a full cabinet respray by me where I individually masked off every yellow and red section and resprayed with Plastikote paints. A very good job (even if I do say so myself) – although I wouldn’t do it again!

Additional work as follows:

Everything came out; the PF was removed and the interior sanded and resrayed in satin black. Minor imperfections in the backbox were filled, sanded and resprayed too.

Mini PF was demylared, sanded and re-laquered and the mini PF mechanism completely rebuilt.

Cabinet bolts and mounting brackets resprayed and re-lacquered.

Coin door resprayed.

Wooden guide rails resprayed.

NOS slings.

Everything tumbled and polished.

Wireforms polished.

Re rubbered and bulbs.

New feet and bolts.

New target decals.

New backing foam to all targets.

All mechs rebuilt; new sleeves etc etc.

Wiring looms cleaned.

New balls.

Shooter lane sanded and re-lacquered

Speaker modification for more bass (DIY Pinball Pro) – 2 x 51/2" coaxials in the back; new 8" sub in the cab with new mounting plate. Volume control to reduce backbox.

Just installed a replacement 2nd hand DMD.

It also has a set of bright red powder coated legs that really set off the colours.

Playfield is good. There is no insert wear although there is a scratch in the ‘Continued’ insert that I have filled with lacquer.

There are a couple of minor points:

The main ramp has suffered some damage to the left hand side as is common with these machines. I installed a homemade protector but you can also buy a Cliffy for it.

There is the usual wear under the legs which I couldn’t repaint. Included are two black leg protectors which cover any wear.

So that’s it. Pics are here: http://s1140.photobucket.com/albums/n572/eddietwadds/

Price is £1,500 or best offer.

Drop me a mail or call on 07951 463978. Based in Brighouse, West Yorkshire.
