I was thinking about this today, My favourite has always been Afm but never bought one (did come close years ago) but now they are alot more expensive. Actually lately I'm starting to think the getaway could be a close 2nd since I sold mine I have wanted one back always play it if I see one but its a common game.

So yeah do you own your favourite? And if not why? Could be cost, friend has one,it's common to see them or even your worried you will get bored.
And I don't mean your fav as in you played kong/Dune last week i mean all time favs 😆

My fave game ever is Taxi. It’s not my best game if that makes any sense whatsoever, but it’s my favourite. I know. I’m weird.

I’ve had my Taxi for about 13 years now. I’ve had Whirlwind even longer.
In fact of my 10 machines, I’ve owned 4 of them for over ten years.

The game I play the most without question is Genesis. It’s just awesome.

If I could own any game it would be medieval madness. That’s my grail.
I don’t own one simply because I can’t afford one and I’m not willing to sell half my games to fund it. When and if I eventually retire it’ll be my first purchase with the lump sum.

Yes  I own most of my favourite games tbh like Flash Gordon, Fathom, Space Station, Whirlwind etc but the number 1 for me is TAF. Bought it many years ago from Dean the badger man and it would be the last to leave.

No. It’s medieval madness and I’ve not seen the OG for sale :)

I played the MM remake and AFM and didn’t like them.

I have a bit of OCD when it comes to aesthetics. Another favourite is revenge from mars, which I don’t want to buy as it would stick out like a sore thumb as it’s too short and a tall.

Widebodys are ruled out unless I get a pair :cuckoo:

Genesis is so addictive I love mine! Such a nice feel to it, And medieval madness I love too i see that and Afm as the same game really find them so hard to compare. Always think of monty python when I play MM😆

Yes, my Spiderman
I got back into pinball in 2019 and bought a vpin, after a few months of owning it, it soon became clear that Spidey was one of a handful of games that I played the most on it.

Then whenever I saw one out and about ( mostly at pinfest ) I would gravitate straight towards it.
Then 2 years ago I was in the position to buy my first real pin, and there was only one contender.
This year me and a friend done a temp swap, my spidey for his ghostbusters. After a week and a half I started to miss spidey, and when it was time to swap back, I was so excited to have it home and start playing it again.
I’ve thought many times about selling it, and having something different to play, but I just can’t bring myself to let it go ! 🤣

Yes, Godzilla. It's the pro vesion, and likely to be the only one I will have. Tend to play my other favourites, AC/DC, MM, BBH, STTNG, ToM, and JD, on Pinball Arcade. Unless I see one IRL, somewhere. The topper is one of my Godzilla figures, pic is a bit dark.

Yes, Flash Gordon. Loved it as soon as I saw one in the flesh and played more than any other machine at Swavesy a few years ago. Got hold of one recently and it’s perfect for me.

Sold HS2 to be able to get one and that was a long time grail game that I do miss and was very tough to come to terms with letting go.

Of the too expensive to ever own, so not allowing myself to consider it a favourite game, I loved playing Bond, GZ, AC/DC and Cactus at Tilt. I also love Space Invaders, TZ, STTNG and Indiana Jones but unless I move house they aren’t fitting though my door 😛

The problem with TMNT is that most people have only played it in competition or on site when it hasn't been set up properly. A well set up TMNT is one of the most underrated machines out there.
I second this - I own a pro TMNT.
Felt like months of only scoring 0-10mil - a few more adjustments every few weeks, and boom. 50+ mil scores and longer games every time!
Also a great game to learn to nudge with.

Not sure I have a single favourite. Creech is up there and I own a nice one. Loved MM and TAFG. Owned both in the past but not sure I'll be dropping £10k+ to get one back!
