Hi guys, I'm a brand new member so I though id jump straight in and get some advice please. I have a Getaway with the bottom line of the DMD out, although sometimes it comes back as does the last vertical line on the right. I took the DMD out for an inspection and have noticed where the bottom line pin is sandwiched between the glass, it is ever so slightly loose. Is this the reason for the lines being out and if so is there a way of rectifying this problem Thanks for any advice or info anybody can give me. Jon.

I can't open the repair guide at the moment but would recommend using conductive epoxy. It is usually the stuff advertised for repairing heated rear windows but also PCB repair work. A little dab does the job after it is left to dry and if the machine is not moved will give a good repair for a long time.

Thanks mate, do i try and get some of the epoxy down where the pin goes into the white stuff? Presumably with something very thin like a needle?

Where the leg is sandwiched should be a solid connection. Clean the area with something that will evaporate off (IPA cleaner, alcohol) and then fill the end of the leg with enough to cover it. A needle would work, I use kebab sticks as they also work to fill playfield screw holes that have been damaged so I have a collection. A small brush will also do the job. Fill the crack between the leg and glass. Leave to dry for a few hours, then carefully re-assemble.
I used something like this:
Heated Rear Windscreen Demister Repair KIT Glue Conductive Paint Window Silver | eBay

Brilliant advice mate. I've just bought some of that stuff. I'll give it a go and let you know how I get on. Thanks again. Jon.
