Hello again,

I'm after another pinball machine after stupidly selling the flintstones I bought from Mr Dredds.
Budget is around 1.5-2k looking for a nice fun pin.

Pins I've liked
Flintstones, scared stiff, TAF (lol), RFM

pins I've not liked so much
Shadow (too hard/complex)
TZ

any suggestions? any for sale? Am I insane?

Goodluck dude. Think SS tends to go for 2k+ now unless it is a ropey one but no harm in asking.

In your budget DMD wise you can certainly pick up a nice RFM and Flintstones. Also games like Creech, Judge Dredd, Johnny Mnemonic, No Fear, Black Rose, Terminator 2, Corvette, Indy 500, World Cup Soccer, Dr Who, Party Zone, Getaway HS2, Dracula, STTNG, Demo Man, Jack Bot, Fish Tales, Dirty Harry. These are all Bally/Williams titles, not sure on Data East/Sega/Stern etc but sure someone else could chime in.

Think I got most of them :)
 
thanks archyta5, I'd love a SS, but it was included more as a guide for anyone suggesting similar playing pins within budget!
Sorry if that appeared otherwise. I'll have another Flintstones at some point but would like something else at this point. I tried to get the NGG on ebay recently but it went over budget sadly....

I've always thought SS was a bit shallow myself in terms of rules (6 modes, wizard mode, repeat) but whatever floats your boat. I'm not too sure on any the games above follow the same sort of game play. Is theme a factor?

pretty much any of those titles sounds good. Just watched tatty Adams video of Johnny mnemonic. That looks great. Played creech on pinball arcade. Loved that too. I hope someone has a table soon. Sale will be cash of course.
 
If you're not getting much luck with a wanted ad mate just keep an eye on the for sale section, game's do come up frequently. Biggest tip is be patient, don't jump on the first DMD game to come up for sale and wait for something you want :)
 
Thanks @Archyta5 thats good advice. I've been offered a few which I'm following up.
My plan is to view gameplay vids on youtube, probably from matty adams as he seems to have owned pretty much everything at some point! and play them electronically where possible on pinball arcade to get a feel for the gameplay too...

Actually that's what I do too..Most Pins have the hook. You just need to find the theme you like. You'll most likely end up with a few as that's what happens.. My Pins are part of the furniture now..

My mates just put his Dr Who up for sale.
He's looking for £1100 for it. If you are into the theme then it could be the machine for you.
It's in North West England.
 
I I bought that 10k Taf on ebay!j/k I'm getting a scared stiff from Colin at pinball uk
