OK,
so got my cpu repaired by luke and now it wont boot with the driver board connected.
Any ideas before I go digging?
I disconnected the power to the DMD driver and it still wont boot with the ribbon connected.

Cheers,
I swapped out the board with my whitewater and the board tests good.
also swapped the ribbon cable and that tested good.
I have no idea:mad:

You ribbons correct way around I.e red on ribbon to pin 1 on boards, make sure all connectors are on pins correctly

Well the game is back in action,
I fought it for a few hours and encountered a few phantom problems that I never quite figured out.
At one stage I had no DMD,
Then no sound,
the the flippers were locking on blowing a fuse.
Then I had all different combinations of the above problems :hmm:

I suspect it was an issue with the cable/headers on ribbon from the cpu/fliptronic/sound/display I/O line but I was unable to prove it.
Have a pinsound installed and no more Carleane Carter multiball!
Nice bit of kit but still has some bugs in the firmware.

Big thanks to LukeWells too.
Top bloke
