HI,

Switched the machine on this morning and nothing appeared on the display. Eventually, sections started to light up. After a while, the majority appeared but it's still not quite right.

Anyone got any ideas? Loosened all the connections and reconnected.

All displays have a limited life ...it *could* just be the first signs that its on its way out

I suggest purchasing new displays.

..Then list the "on way out" displays on ebay as "spares or repair"

Before splashing out on new displays, measure the supply voltages first. It may be that out of spec components on the psu are starting the voltages low when cold, and they increase when warmed up.

That sounds about right as when you first switch it on, there is nothing then after a few mintues, the display starts to come back. It was working perfectly the previous day. Thanks man.

Another possibility is that you have hairline cracks in the connector pins, either on the PSU or display board and when the game warms up the PCB boards expand making contact, so it's possible that it's just a solder re-flow taht is required.
