This has happened once before, I flip the switch underneath to turn on the machine and nothing happens, no red lights nothing. I checked the obvious fuse of the input plug and it's o.k. When this happened once before I turned on the machine the next day and it came on as normal so what could it be?. No power appears to reach the backbox otherwise at least a red light would show wouldn't it?,

I’d start simple check fuse board, check plug in wall? Check fuse in plug (out of plug) check plug wiring, check plug into back of Pinball? Inside pinball check wiring into the internal fuse box, then check fuse in this box.
Once all these eliminated come back.

Check where the voltage ends, could be a flakey switch or line filter, loose wire etc

this is weird, I go back to test a few things and it's now working normally  must be something intermittent that's preventing power to the boards
