I love this game ever since I bought one in 1997.
This is no3 in and going to refresh the cosmetic appreance.
Electronically it sound, just mains hum on the speakers really to sort out.
It's 99% LED already so that's a good start.

Objectives:
Re decal
Topper
Power coat metal work
Replace drop targets
Side blades
Colour DMD
Polish the aluminium posts
Re rubber.

A steady few hours over the past few weeks cleaning, replacing a few hard to get to bulbs with LEDs. New Titans across the playfield. The aluminium posts that have oxidised I have replaced with Chrome ones from Pinball Center.
While shopping at PC I noticed a new ROM version to tidy up some small glitches from the original version from 30 years ago.
And my colour DMD has arrived from Australia with the colour LW3 files.
Always a gamble but they got me for customs and the £12 tip to Parcel Force.

And there was me thinking Comet included some free extras. Im no way any expert and was a first for me trying to change all the bulbs. I didn't think of the start button one to be entirely honest.

It's no problem, a good choice using Comets. I do an audit for bulbs on my machines and always get it wrong!
You can get Comets quite easy now in the UK.
The tower can be a pain to get off but I am going to powercoat the wire forms so a good opportunity to get in there.

Grabbed Mrs Solars hair dryer and applied the decals. Earth braiding duties which gives me back ache!

Very pleased with the powder coating pick up today. £100 + VAT

Lots of progress, but will slow down due to exotic holiday coming up.
A few snags to do. F7 on the PPB has blown (Rottendog).

Some coils not working and flashers so got some bits to think about.

Last little switch issue sorted. I've put the 3.01 ROM in. Still got some hum on the speakers so will look at the big blue cap.

Completed in my eyes, other than the lock decal on the rear of the back box.
Replaced the blue cap with one from Jim at mypinballs.
And changed the DMD roms to the newest edition.
I might at some point put Pinsound Neo and speakers in.
Good for another 30 years hopefully.
