"Gag me with a spoon!!!"
This was my first ever pinball, bought from Facebook. I have had this machine for a year now, and apparently, since my pinball collection is now back under control, I'm only allowed another if I follow the one in, one out. I need another challenge, needs must, so here goes...
The good:
It's a time machine, who doesn't want a time machine!!!
It plays fault free
I have installed a separate PSU to deliver 5v,-12v and 12v separate to the main power to eliminate the Data East speaker hum.
The original back glass is here and looks amazing!
Looks stunning with LEDs throughout.
I have installed an NVRAM and removed the batteries.
The bad:
The case has seen some action, it has chips here and there and there are areas where previous owners have touched up. I have found this perfectly presentable.
It has a black lock bar which isn't original
The speaker panel is Matt silver
The ramps have been repaired with fibreglass and stainless steel strips to keep them alive.
There are some touch ups on the playfield on out lanes and under the ball returns from the wireforms.
There is paint wear under the bumpers.
It's a brilliant fun machine, not a complex rule set, but it's one that anyone can enjoy. Infact it's the one my daughter loved to bits and my friends always play. Next to a Data East Star Wars, the kids and guests chose this game time. The music is really catchy and the real chimes are a delight (if like me, you like real chimes)
£1950 Ono. Let me know if you have any questions.
