After 20 odd years in this mad crazy hobby/obsession i found a 1991 Data East Batman pinball machine that genuinely has surprised me . The main attraction for me when i went to see the machine was the immaculate cabinet and backbox. After owning for a couple of months and putting in many hours getting it playing properly i am really enjoying the gameplay way more than i had any expectations of. More to it than most folk would have you believe. It is most certainly not a one shot game as some people say.

I am hoping to find a nice Star Trek from the same era to go beside it. I have many years ago owned a couple but it was way before i had a clue how to fix anything and they played poorly and probably gave me the wrong impression as to how much fun they can be to play.

I may consider a trade for my Judge Dredd pinball if anyone wants to part with a nice 25th.

Thanks.
John.

Bloody hell Scott you actually had that many !

It is pretty addictive though . So many games of that era were addictive but brutal with the ball saves,

There is a fella Bristol way interested in a JD - looking to swap a fish tales for one.. he has a players condition fish tales (the same machine's been on here in the past I think, with a painted cabinet).

There's also a Last Action Hero in Sheffield on Facebook, bit more modern but might scratch a data-east itch - asking £2850.

Good luck with your search.

Thanks for that, LAH i just couldn`t get on with. Loaded with toys and stuff but just didn`t do it for me. Fish Tales i love but have had so many over the years !
