Yes, they scratch. Some care must be taken. The metal ones scratch as well, but can be polished again I suppose. BTW: Soon, I am going to offer metal blades on 0,8 mm mirror polished steel. They are going to be more expensive.
Yeah no chance of a fag paper width on my DE Hook either. I cut blades to fit from a sheet of mirror HIP so they sit flush on top of the playfield, looks perfect but they must be removed if you need to lift the pf. Good to know about those! If i had mirror blades on my JP they'd be screwed going by the amount I'm lifting that playfield atm!
