Data East Batman backglass lights problem

We have a Data East Batman pinball and one section of the lights behind the backglass have stopped working. It is the set that lights up the word 'Batman'.
I have checked the wiring, solder joints and all the bulbs which seem OK. I have also looked at all the fuses I can see but they all look OK.
Any ideas, bearing in mind I have no idea what I am doing!!

Hi Paul

When you say you have looked at the fuses ...have you removed and tested them with a meter ? It will be one of F1 - 4 on the PPB board ....bottom left board in backbox.

The 2 connectors I would look at first for cracked solder, overheating, bad connection etc would be J5 on the PPB board - see what colour wire is going to yr missing lamps and you will then see which pin at the header is the one you are concerned with. And CN8 on the Power Supply board.

The DE fuse holders can be a bit crappy too so worth checking them too if you dont find the problem elsewhere.

Fixed. It was a loose wire on the CN8 connector.
Thank you for your help, it is much appreciated.
