So... what is the absolute craziest wizard you have ever gotten to.

Of the games I have owned; I have hit Monster Multiball (SS), No Limits (NF), Fear Fest (NF) Meet Your Maker (NF), 30MIL Jacks - is that the wizard? (BSD), Horde (TWD)

For me - of the games still in my collection here today I think all the wizards are CRAZY to get to:

TWD - Last Man Standing - 105 Kills Isn't It? I have hit 84 I think!
SS - Spider Multiball... Best I have hit is 7 or 8 I think, there's 14 isn't there?
WPT - The Keefer Invitational is INSANE - @Wayne J - you must have hit it right?

The ones I think that I have seen in a bit of detail and seem not so crazy in a HU environment are:

TAF - Tour the Mansion
MET - End of the Line

So what is your Crazy and Not So Wizards in your collection and have you hit them?
 
Crazy: Iron Man’s Do or Die Multiball
Not So: TZ’s LITZ, but I still love it!

No - never got to Keefer Invitational - the fact that 2 of the requirements need to be achieved in MB make it extremely hard - especially as just qualifying subsequent MBs gets increasingly harder.

Have got to every non-stern Wizard I can think of.


For Stern machines, have got to, in rough order of difficulty,

Moonbase - Austin Powers
Mansion Mania - Playboy
MBA Finals - NBA
Final Tour - As
Immolation Initiative - GotG

Do or Die MB on IM, but have got to Do or Die & Jericho.
2nd level wizard on ST (Enterprise Amok?)
Dark Phoenix & Danger Room - but not whatever's after that
Both Autobot & Decepticon wizards on TF, but not both in same game
Have come close to Eternal Life on IJ - but only played half a dozen games.
Four Winds but never managed to get to Gauntlet on PotC , another requirement that needs completing in MB.

Haven't got to Run to the Hills in IMdn - yet, but confident I will get there :p

Not sure, barely played AC/DC, but i thought Valinor was stupid hard, and that’s floating around near the middle! Wayne is not your average player though. I felt MET’s EOTL was more achievable than Valinor.

'Easiest' at the top, hardest at the bottom.

I didn't find Valinor hard to get to, you 'only' have to keep the ball alive, all modes don't have to be completed, progress is stored during MBs - it's an endurance battle. Compare that to completing the SJ on BBH in Buck MB, which needs a ridiculous amount of shots while remaining in MB, with no progress saved.

The ones nearer the top of the list tend to be games I've reached the wizard, when I haven't even owned the game, the rest are basically how long it took me to get to the wizard, or how many times I got there.

The ones nearer the bottom tend to have at least one objective which is difficult, often something you wouldn't shoot for in normal play. Such as completing Lucius in BDK, or Bird MB in BBH, Navi in Av, SJ in FG. If you were playing for a high score you wouldn't go for these modes/features, but to go for the wizard you have to specifically target these things. Playing SM the most common strategy is alternating MBs and hitting villains, but then you miss out on the modes. LMS on TWD I purely focused on hitting walkers in MB, not going for SJs, nor did I try stacking MBs, or completing modes.

Encore is not only hard to get to, you have to focus on completing songs rather than scoring points, once you do get there it's mega hard to complete, but it is without doubt my favourite wizard mode ever.

Great fun, I think once you've got there (and possibly even getting there) it would be easier on a Prem with the smart bombs, but I did it on a Pro - ended up with about 6 Bil, but the score effectively rolled so only showed as 2 Bil.

TWD has some great modes, Horde, Terminus & Siege as well as the 5 'normal' modes. Fantastic game all round.
 
I got to Valinor on LOTR easy enough - mind you I did have the glass off :) I dont think I'd ever ever get there in a million years otherwise.
 
PS Same applies to JJ POTC - I cant see myself ever getting to the Final Wizard mode on that either. But I'm really enjoying this game right now.

Rolling Stones is insanely tough to get to the'Encore Multiball' - the true Wizard mode. I have never seen it or been close to it.

You can get to 'Encore ' (which is a basically a 1 ball version) by starting/collecting all the modes in the game. I have done this a few times but I still find it a challenge.

To get to 'Encore Multiball' you must have completed all the modes , not just started ...COMPLETED, before starting 'Encore'. *IF* you can then complete all the objectives in Encore (collecting umpteen different jackpots in various ways) THEN 'Encore Multiball' will begin.

The toughest mode to complete is 'Album (Mick) Multiball' - multiple stages to complete. 'Rock Star Multiball' a challenge also.

I doubt I will ever see it tbh :rolleyes: But the hope is always there ....one day Jagger, you prancing t#t, I will destroy you :thumbs:
