This was Matt Adams old one, very good condition apparently it was two congos made into one, has an uncracked volcano ( almost impossible to find )
Plays super fast all round good condition.
£1600

£1450
Can't be assed to mess about that's what the game cost me :)

If it doesn't go here it will be at the slam :)
Cracking game, just got to fund the next couple of pin purchases so some have to leave :(

Has the hunt for Congo's, Junk Yard and NBAs to turn into MMs now stopped then?

Only downside to this pin is that you have to watch the crap film it came from. I'd be tempted but sadly don't have the room at the moment

Its a nightmare that people think Congo is a worthy candidate to rob for other systems or re-builds but actually, having played this one at wills it has the most amazing sounds and music, flows like quicksilver and truly a great pin. Yeah the film sucks, but the pin rocks (isn't that the same for the Shadow whilst we're here?). Regardless this is a beautiful example folks, don't be shy!

It's a terrific game , your spot on there Rav :)

Gutted. Would have had that. Anyone wanting to trade 1 for a very nice T3 ?

not taking it to the slam then? I wanna play a congo
hopefully i'll bring my Congo along, so don't worry. i agree with others, it's a fantastic game with loads to shoot for, and i can't believe people were killing them to turn into MMs - presumably they couldn't find an NBA to use instead.

the main criticism of Congo that gets quoted sometimes is the absence of a real wizard mode - instead you collect diamonds, and when you get to 200 diamonds, you get to shoot for superjackpots. but this is no biggie, for me anyway.

Do they have the same wiring harness

Do they have the same wiring harness

They do share a lot of common parts which is why they get used for MM cloning. The reason I chose Congo as a donor machine is there a very few parts available for it for some reason?

Look at PH's website, he lists just 9 parts for Congo and none of them are specific to the machine. I wanted to restore mine as the cabinet was faded almost completely white but couldn't source cabinet decals, ramps etc.

Having said that it's still all there and if they start producing parts I can bring it back to life. I agree it's a cracking game and I love the look and feel of it too.

Ah no worries Moonraker. Worth asking :) currently only have room for 1 machine. I don't particularly want to sell T3 but would need the money and space; but I've owned a Congo in the past and rather enjoyed it. We'll see :)

Nope it cost me including delivery £1450 and I have agreed £1450 to the buyer :)
