colour dmd

ok so looking at sega colour dmd, can you set a "colour dmd" to just plain orange dots or do you have to run the colour program if that makes sense? as in looking for replacement dmd for large sega display but dont want to loose the orange dots as i prefer them

You can set the PIN2DMD panels to any single colour from the pallette.

For sega I think you'd need the XL 192X64 version
