Here's a chance to own a classic Classic, and it won't break the bank. The very first talking Bally pinball machine, dating back to 1980.
I'm talking, of course, about Xenon, a landmark of its time, and a great game in its own right.
This one is in very nice condition - restenciled by the previous owner, with an almost pristine playfield thanks to a very well installed playfield overlay, and a funky LED tube light add on. It also has a new Altek mpu board. The other boards are all original as far as I can see. Since I have had the machine I have polished the lockbar to shiney shiney, replaced the temperamental Sound Plus board with a fully working one from keef at @new forest pinball, and wired the tilt bob up so that it is now working and the machine tilts if you are too rough with it.
The backglass is in a really good condition - both sides (see photos) and the displays are good and bright.
The only negatives really that I can think of are that the legs are showing a bit of corrosion under the paint - you could sand and repaint them, get a new set, or leave them as they are. And a piece of wood which is part of the vent at the back of the backbox is broken, but you can't see that unless you go around the back and take a look (also in the photos)
One more positive is that it comes with a new set of drop targets - the ones fitted are fully working but there are new ones provided it you feel like installing them.
Asking just £1850
