Hi to all
Got a bit of a weird one here, have been working my way through this game and have running as it should but when the game is left on for an hour or two everything starts crashing. displays show garbage, cpu controlled lamps light randomly
sound dies and mpu loses memory (loses high scores etc). Usually you can tell when it starts playing up as random switches when hit don't register.
Now turn the game off and leave it several hours then bingo every then works as it should I can only put it down to heat affecting the mpu board somehow but where do I start looking, a couple of the I/Cs PIAs feel warmer when the problems start but not really that hot has anyone seen anything like this before or got any pointers to what I could try.

Thanks John
